CONTENT SUMMARY
INTRODUCTION
Well Control during drilling operations course provides comprehensive well control training standards for the global drilling industry, emphasizing rigorous training for every person with well control responsibilities. This course provides trainees with in-depth knowledge, skills, and greater confidence that they know what to do to prevent and handle well control incidents.

1. Mr Asif Zamir (UTP)
Asif Zamir, Petroleum Engineer (IWCF Certified) is a lecturer at Universiti Teknologi PETRONAS (Malaysia), a certified well control required engineer by IWCF. Before joining UTP, he served as a is researcher at the King Saud University–Department of Petroleum and Natural Gas Engineering (Saudi Arabia) and drilling engineer at OGDCL, Pakistan. Asif Zami holds his MSc degree in Petroleum Engineering from King Saud University (Saudi Arabia) in 2014, B.sc degree in Petroleum Engineering from BUITEMS Pakistan in 2008 and his MBA degree from virtual university of Pakistan in 2011. His primary interest areas include; but not limited to the Drilling & well completion, well control, Drilling operations and drilling fluid design. He was the drilling engineering cluster leader at the petroleum engineering department at UTP from Jan 2016 to Jan 2017.
