CONTENT SUMMARY
INTRODUCTION
The high reliability, the absence of working fluid and auxiliary pipes in the thermoelectric cooling application have attracted the attention of researchers in the last two decades. Thermoelectric cooling systems have only been applied in lab-scale level. This course will introduce the prospects of thermoelectric air conditioning systems applicable for buildings in tropical climate like Malaysia. There will be a virtual tour of the already developed thermoelectric cooling system in UTP. This course will also give a comparative idea of life cycle cost analysis and carbon credit potential between thermoelectric air conditioning system and conventional air conditioning system available in the market.
