INTRODUCTION
Successful project management involves integrating all areas of project management framework following a holistic approach. Modern project management requires an increased demand for quality, on time delivery and control. With this aim, this course exposes participants to the essential concepts, principles, and practices of project management with hands-on experience. This course equips with the skills needed to apply to introductory and mid-level roles in project management. Project managers play a key role in leading, planning and implementing projects establishing successful portfolios for their organizations. Dr. Rehan Akbar (UTP)
Dr. Rehan has over 20 years of experience in academics and industry in the field of IT. He has been working as Head of Department at Department of Information Systems at UTAR and is currently affiliated with UTP. He has been working at various management and administrative positions, and leadership roles. Demonstrating good project management skills, he successfully completed projects with international clients and teams. Dr. Rehan is certified ‘Professional Technologist’ by MBOT Malaysia, TRIZ Level 2 practitioner, certified for MonSoonSim business simulation, and certified by Alibaba for Ecommerce and Digital Entrepreneurship courses. He is senior member of IEEE (SMIEEE) and member of Association for Information Systems. (MAIS).
