INTRODUCTION
The 3-Day Mini MBA is an intensive, hands-on and practical course for practitioners who plan to understand more of business management within a short period. It is designed specifically for working professionals who do not possess the luxury of time to attend a full MBA program. The course is a combination of theory and practice for the advantage of those who may not have strong backgrounds in the areas of strategy, marketing and financial risk management for career advancement. The course uses contemporary ideas for the enhancement of job functions and understanding of up-to-date management framework. The course’s delivery will be conducted in the forms of discussion, workshop and case study for greater application and appreciation.

1. Associate Professor Dr Ting Ding Hooi (UTP)
Dr Ting Ding Hooi is an Associate Professor at the Department of Management and Humanities, Universiti Teknologi PETRONAS (UTP) where he also holds the position of a Cluster Leader, Business and Management Cluster. He holds a PhD in Marketing from Universiti Sains Malaysia. He did his MSc in Economics at the University of Exeter, United Kingdom. He has over 23 years of experiences in academia and consulting firm. Based on his vast research experience, he has secured various national and international research grants such as Sumitomo Foundation (Japan), Murata Science Foundation (Japan), International Collaborative Research Fund with Universitas Ahmad Dahlan (UAD) and Atma Jaya Catholic University of Indonesia, Ministry of Higher Education and Yayasan UTP. Dr Ting has also provided his services to International clients namely Petronas Carigali Turkmenistan and British Council. He is currently the President of the American Association of Inside Sales Professionals (AA-ISP), Malaysia Chapter.

3. Associate Professor Dr. Satirenjit K Johl (UTP)
Associate Professor Dr. Satirenjit K Johl has been in the academic, research & consultancy field since 1992. She is currently with Universiti Teknologi PETRONAS. Prior to that she was with Universiti Utara Malaysia. Dr. Johl has also served the corporate sector, namely IBM, Boustead Holdings and Malaysian Professional Centre. She obtained her Doctorate in Philosophy (Business) from University of Nottingham, U.K and Master’s in Human Resource Management from Universiti Utara Malaysia. She is also a certified trainer from the Institute of Personnel and Development, U.K. She has conducted several training programs for multinational companies i.e. IBM, Boustead Holdings and Universiti Teknologi PETRONAS in the areas of Quality, Entrepreneurship and Human Resource. She has received several awards from International bodies for Best Dissertation awarded by British Aerospace and Loughborough University, U.K. She has received the Hariram Jayaran special award and Gold award in the 23rd International Invention Innovation & Technology Exhibition.
4. Dr. Amjad Shamim (UTP)
Dr. Amjad is an Associate Professor of Marketing and Program Manager for MBA in Energy Management at Management & Humanities Department, Universiti Teknologi PETRONAS (UTP), Malaysia. He is also Deputy Head at the Center of Social Innovation at UTP. He holds a PhD, MS, and MBA in Marketing.
He is a Chartered Manager Fellow (CMgr FCMI) from Chartered Management Institute (CMI) UK and is also a Certified Professional Marketer (CPM, Asia) by the Asian Marketing Federation.
With a diverse background encompassing over 15 years of experience in both industry and academia, Dr. Amjad has successfully trained more than 600 industry professionals and researchers. His training programs cover a wide range of areas, including Value Co-Creation, Social Intelligence, Design Thinking, Complex Problem-Solving Strategies, Innovation Management, Strategic Marketing Excellence for Professionals, and Structural Equation Modelling, among others.
In 2023, Dr. Amjad's Value Co-Creation training program was honored with the "Top 5 Training Program Award" from PETRONAS Marketing and Trading Skill Group. He has an extensive publication record, with over 80 research papers published in leading international journals. Additionally, he has secured 10 research grants from national and international funding bodies.
Dr. Amjad has played a pivotal role in academia, having successfully supervised four PhDs and currently supervising the research of eight PhD scholars. He has received numerous awards, including the Top Five Training Program Award from PETRONAS in 2023, the Journal Publication Award from Universiti Teknologi PETRONAS in 2022, the UTP Brand Advocate Award in 2020, and the Liam Glyn Research Scholarship award from the American Marketing Association – Special Service Interest Group in 2019.
Actively involved in professional bodies, Dr. Amjad serves as a Council Member on the Council of the Institute of Marketing Malaysia, an Editorial Advisory Board member for the Journal of Islamic Marketing & Management and Sustainability Research: An Arab Review-Journal, an Executive Director / Advisor R&D of the MBT Consortium, Executive Board Member of The Association of International Certified Public Accountants of Pakistan / CPAPRO®, and a Guest Editor at Frontiers in Psychology. Furthermore, he contributes to the academic community as a reviewer for various international research journals.
