CONTENT SUMMARY

INTRODUCTION

Organizational leaders strive to find the best innovation for a successful business model and a competitive advantage. Success strategies for various design thinking implementations and organizational strategies are essential. The aim of this course is to guide participants in developing a fascinating journey of promoting digital organizational change through design. The participants will gain a better understanding of the strategies for successful digital transformation projects and implementation. The user-need as a source of innovation, multidisciplinary perspective as an amplifier of innovation, and experiment as an engine of innovation strategies are to be demonstrated.

In this course, we will discuss when and how design thinking can be successfully used as well as how to implement it. As a case study, the beyond Industrial Revolution (IR) design thinking initiatives by digital organization will be explained after understanding the concept of IR 4.0. The critical, cultural, and organizational changes that the organizations need in making successful design thinking will be demonstrated. Thus, academic, theoretical, and practical developments in the areas of IR 4.0, strategic design thinking, and innovation research will be explained.

Furthermore, other interested participants who want to apply strategic design thinking to everyday challenges will benefit from this course. Where they will learn how to unleash the capacity for innovation in complex and highly constrained situations.
