Dr. Ramani Kannan is a Senior lecturer in Universiti Teknologi PETRONAS, Malaysia. He received his B.E degree from Bharathiyar University, India. Later, completed his M.E and Ph.D. in Power Electronics and Drives from Anna University, respectively. He holds more than 125 publications in reputed international and national journals and conferences. He is a Chartered Engineer CEng (UK), active Senior member in IEEE(USA), and members in IET(UK), BEM(MY), IE(IND), ISTE(IND), and Institute of advance engineering and science. Dr. Ramani is recognized with many awards, including “Career Award for Young Teacher” from AICTE India, 2012; “Young Scientist Award” in power electronics and Drives, 2015; “Highest Research publication Award” 2017. He received “Outstanding Researcher Award” prestigious award from Universiti Teknologi PETRONAS-2019. Award for Outstanding Performance, Service and Dedication 2019 at UTP, Malaysia and Award for BEST PRESENTER CENCON 2019 IEEE Conference on Energy Conversion (CENCON 2019) Indonesia. His research interest involves in power electronics, inverters, modeling of induction motor and optimization techniques.

Dr Mufti Mahmud received his Ph.D. degree in information engineering from the University of Padova, Italy, in 2011. He is currently serving as a Senior Lecturer of Computer Science with the Nottingham Trent University, U.K. He was a recipient of the Marie-Curie Postdoctoral Fellowship. He has been serving at various positions in the industry and academia in India, Bangladesh, Italy, Belgium, and UK, since 2003. He is an expert in computational intelligence, applied data analysis, and big data technologies with a keen focus on healthcare applications. He has published over 130 peer-reviewed articles and papers in leading journals and conferences. He is a Senior Member of IEEE & ACM, a Professional Member of the British Computer Society, and a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy, UK. He has been serving as the Vice Chair of the Intelligent System Application Technical Committee of IEEE CIS, a member of the IEEE CIS Task Force on Intelligence Systems for Health and the IEEE R8 Humanitarian Activities Subcommittee, the Publications Chair of the IEEE UK and Ireland Industry Applications Chapter, and a Project Liaison Officer of the IEEE UK and Ireland SIGHT Committee. He has also served as the coordinating chair of local organization of the IEEE-WCCI2020; the General Chair of AII2021, BI2020 and 2021; and the Program Chair of IEEE-CICARE2019, 2020 and 2021.

He serves as Section Editor for Cognitive Computation, Associate Editor  of Big Data Analytics, Frontiers in Neuroscience, and IEEE Access journals, and Regional Editor (Europe) for Brain Informatics journal . Additionally, he serves as guest editor to numerous journals.
