Pumps are a heavy-duty process primary moves used to move different products, including water, chemicals, petroleum, wastewater, oil, sludge, slurry or food. Pumps typically used for industrial purposes include centrifugal pumps, gear pumps and positive displacement pumps. It may say that no industrial plant operates with no pump involvement.

The present course provided knowledge to the technicians, engineers, designers and students at all levels on pumps, from fundamental to the high specific applications
