CONTENT SUMMARY
INTRODUCTION
Pressure Vessel Design, Inspection and Testing (PVDIT), training programs are designed for Technical Managers, Maintenance Staff, SME Owners, Design Engineer, Engineer and Technical Executives. This training is equipped with theoretical and practical on how to design, inspection and testing of unfired pressure vessel according ASME Code Section VIII Div. 1 or 2 requirements standard and API 501. Participants will also be given exposure to example of some case study on design PV using classical theory on ASME code , PV software and inspection and testing of PV.

1. Assoc. Prof. Ir. Dr. Hamdan Haji Ya (UTP)
Hamdan Haji Ya (HHYa) is currently an Associate Professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering, Universiti Teknologi PETRONAS, since December 2013. Prior to that, he had more than twenty years of experience working in the industrial sector where his last position was as general manager at SIRIM Berhad, Malaysia. He earned a PhD in Impact Engineering / Applied Mechanics, Mechanical Engineering at The University of Manchester in 2006. He has written more than fifty technical paper publications. Ir. Dr. Hamdan is a professional engineer and a corporate member of the Institute of Engineers Malaysia. His research interests are in the field of impact engineering on composite materials, pressure vessel design, erosion mitigation in pipeline and energy management.
2. Assoc. Prof. Ir. Dr. Mohd Amin Abd Majid (UTP)
Mohd Amin Abdul Majid is currently Associate Professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering, Universiti Teknologi PETRONAS, since 2000.. He earned his PhD in Mechanical Engineering from Universiti Malaya. His research interest include Manufacturing, District Cooling, Asset Life Study and Plant Maintenance. He has completed several research projects funded by various agencies and holds many publications in the form of peer-reviewed journals and conference papers.
3. Ir. Syed Fadhil Syed Mohamed (SIRIM Bhd)
Ir. Syed Fadhil Syed Mohamed is a Registered Professional Engineer with Practising Certificate (PEPC) with the Board Engineers Malaysia (BEM) and a Member of the Institution of Engineers Malaysia (MIEM). He also member Chartered Engineer (CEng) and member of the Institution of Mechanical Engineers UK. Besides that, He is certified Board of Boiler and Pressure Vessel Inspectors (Georgia, USA) and an authorized personnel in American Petroleum Institute (API) for following scope:
4. Mr. Winson Lim (Sutera Analytics Sdn Bhd)
Winson have years of working experiences in engineering design, cost estimation, project budget, quality control and management for static equipment and machines. He has also had vast experience in education and a founder of an engineering college in 2012. Apart from his sale and technical work experiences at Hexagon, he is also a trainer for PV Elite who has conducted PV Elite training for more than 80 companies across SEA since year 2006. In 2017 he was appointed as Chief Education Officer of Sutera Analytics Sdn Bhd. His major task is to introduce Hexagon Smartplant and CADWorx and Analysis (CAS) products into education industry. Currently, he is working as a project manager at Seremban Engineering Bhd
