CONTENT SUMMARY

INTRODUCTION

The course is designed to provide fundamentals of petroleum reservoir rock and fluid properties for the beginner level. The module comprised terminologies, theory, and analysis related to basic petroleum rock and fluid properties. The analysis includes the laboratory techniques used to evaluate the petroleum reservoir rock and fluid properties interactions. The module serves as the foundation for most of the activities in the petroleum industry prior to advanced analysis related to improved oil recovery (IOR), enhanced oil recovery (EOR), and formation damage. Understanding the petroleum reservoir rock and fluid properties will provide clarity to interpret the reservoir rock and fluid interactions in the field.
