COURSE SUMMARY
INTRODUCTION
T-junction is a typical component seen in pipe network. The main pipe is normally in horizontal direction while the branch pipe is pointing at 12 o’clock position, perpendicular to the main pipe. Depending on the flow configuration, it can be broadly categorized as converging or diverging T-junction; or depending on the diameter ratios of the branch to main pipe diameter, classified as regular or reduced T-junction. The more common knowledge we know about T-junction is its functional usage to transport gas/liquid mass and energy while we hear very little about its more salient feature as partial phase separator. This course is an exposition to the T-junction of its use as phase separator.
WHO SHOULD ATTEND?
OBJECTIVES
Upon completion of this course, participants will be able to:
Design T-junction according to practical application.
