INTRODUCTION
This short course is designed to introduce participants to the most effective online tools for e-learning. The course will explore Learning Management Systems (LMS) and Online Course Creation Tools to provide practical guidance on how to use these tools effectively in teaching and learning. Participants will learn how to use LMS to manage online courses, deliver content, and track learners' progress.
They will also gain insights into how to create engaging and interactive e-learning content using Online Course Creation Tools such as H5P. Additionally, they will learn how to use other tools such as Padlet, Socrative, Clipchamp and Online Whiteboard to facilitate collaboration, share ideas, and organize content visually and interactively.
By the end of the course, participants will have a solid understanding of the benefits and limitations of the current online tools for e-learning, and the skills and knowledge needed to use these tools effectively.

1. Dr Nurul Ekmi Binti Rabat (UTP)
Dr. Nurul Ekmi Binti Rabat is a senior lecturer in Chemical Engineering at UTP with a keen interest in teaching and learning. She specializes in the application of active learning and problem-based learning (PBL) in her courses and has been actively engaged in this area since earning her Ph.D. from Universiti Teknologi Malaysia in 2014. Dr. Nurul Ekmi is also the Programme Manager for an MSc programme where she oversees the Open and Distance Learning (ODL) operations, ensuring that students have access to the best possible educational resources and online experiences. Dr. Nurul plays a vital role in transforming conventional Learning Management Systems into interactive LMS using Online Course Creation Tools for the ODL programmes.
