INTRODUCTION

This course is about engineering knowledge of oilfield corrosion and process-related corrosion. At the end of course, students will understand the corrosion processes, the selection of engineering materials, chemical treatment and corrosion management.

COURSE CONTENT
  • Type of corrosion encountered in the oil and gas industry parameters that control the various types of corrosion modes
  • Type of corrosion in chemical/petrochemical processing
  • Corrosion monitoring and management

OBJECTIVES

Upon completion of this course, participants will be able to:

  • Evaluate corrosion process and operational parameters that control the various types of corrosion modes.
  • Analyse corrosion mechanisms using appropriate tools.
  • Appraise corrosion models and corrosion maps.

WHO SHOULD ATTEND?

  • Managers and Executives Engineer
  • Researchers & Consultants

OUR TRAINERS
