INTRODUCTION
The 3-Day Mini MBA is to prepare leaders to navigate an increasingly complex and uncertain business environment. It is designed specifically for working professionals who do not possess the luxury of time to attend a full MBA program. The course is a combination of theory and practice for leadership, communication, and business analytics for career advancement. This course provides a highly practical perspective on how to lead in a complex, multicultural and diverse environment. Business analytics will provide leaders at all levels with a strategic, high-level understanding of analytics and intelligence. Leadership also requires persuasiveness and influence which the communication is built on the bedrock of confidence, presence, social and emotional intelligence. The course delivery will be conducted in the forms of discussion, workshop and case study for greater application and appreciation.

1. Associate Professor Dr. Shahrina Md Nordin (UTP)
Associate Professor Dr Shahrina Md Nordin is the founding head of Centre of Social Innovation (COSI), UTP. She currently leads the committee for the University Social Responsibility on socio-economic development of the rural communities for poverty alleviation. She has been active in research, funded by government and corporate agencies at national and international levels. She was a project leader in socioeconomic impact studies of the oil and gas industry on local communities in Malaysia. Her work on social innovation was funded by MOSTI Social Innovation (MSI) fund under the Ministry of Science, Technology, and Innovation (Malaysia) and other agencies. Her active involvement with NGOs and various agencies has provided her not only with theoretical knowledge but also pragmatic and practical experience in communities’ development projects and social impact related studies. She is part of the founding members of the Malaysian Social Business Network. She is currently an active associate member of Academy of Sciences Malaysia. At the international front, she is an appointed reviewer by Research Council United Kingdom (RCUK She was appointed as Track Paper Review Chair, Social Business Academia Conference (SBAC), Paris and Germany 2017-2019. She was also given the opportunity to be a Plenary Speaker at SBAC, Germany. She recently was given the opportunity to lead an internationally funded research by British Council. She has published numerous papers in indexed journals. She has also authored a number books and was an editor for publications. She is currently an associate professor at the Management and Humanities Department, specializing in the areas of language and communications.

3. Dr. Amjad Shamim (UTP)
Dr. Amjad is an Associate Professor of Marketing and Program Manager for MBA in Energy Management at Management & Humanities Department, Universiti Teknologi PETRONAS (UTP), Malaysia. He is also Deputy Head at the Center of Social Innovation at UTP. He holds a PhD, MS, and MBA in Marketing.
He is a Chartered Manager Fellow (CMgr FCMI) from Chartered Management Institute (CMI) UK and is also a Certified Professional Marketer (CPM, Asia) by the Asian Marketing Federation.
With a diverse background encompassing over 15 years of experience in both industry and academia, Dr. Amjad has successfully trained more than 600 industry professionals and researchers. His training programs cover a wide range of areas, including Value Co-Creation, Social Intelligence, Design Thinking, Complex Problem-Solving Strategies, Innovation Management, Strategic Marketing Excellence for Professionals, and Structural Equation Modelling, among others.
In 2023, Dr. Amjad's Value Co-Creation training program was honored with the "Top 5 Training Program Award" from PETRONAS Marketing and Trading Skill Group. He has an extensive publication record, with over 80 research papers published in leading international journals. Additionally, he has secured 10 research grants from national and international funding bodies.
Dr. Amjad has played a pivotal role in academia, having successfully supervised four PhDs and currently supervising the research of eight PhD scholars. He has received numerous awards, including the Top Five Training Program Award from PETRONAS in 2023, the Journal Publication Award from Universiti Teknologi PETRONAS in 2022, the UTP Brand Advocate Award in 2020, and the Liam Glyn Research Scholarship award from the American Marketing Association – Special Service Interest Group in 2019.
Actively involved in professional bodies, Dr. Amjad serves as a Council Member on the Council of the Institute of Marketing Malaysia, an Editorial Advisory Board member for the Journal of Islamic Marketing & Management and Sustainability Research: An Arab Review-Journal, an Executive Director / Advisor R&D of the MBT Consortium, Executive Board Member of The Association of International Certified Public Accountants of Pakistan / CPAPRO®, and a Guest Editor at Frontiers in Psychology. Furthermore, he contributes to the academic community as a reviewer for various international research journals.
4. Dr. Hairuzila Idrus (UTP)
Dr Hairuzila Idrus is a Senior Lecturer at the Department of Management and Humanities, Universiti Teknologi PETRONAS (UTP). She obtained her Ph.D in Education from Universiti Teknologi MARA, Masters in TESOL and Bachelor of arts in Linguistics from the US. She has vast experience in teaching at tertiary level where she served UiTM for 10 years and UTP for 21 years. The courses that she teaches in UTP are Professional Communication Skills, Academic Writing and Technical Writing. Her areas of expertise are Education, particularly language education, engineering education and teaching and learning methods, and Applied Linguistics. She is a member of the Malaysian Association of Applied Linguistics and has served as a Committee Member for the Society of Engineering Education Malaysia for 4 years. Dr Hairuzila has done numerous trainings and workshops, among them are English Language Proficiency courses, Technical Writing for Engineers, Proposal Writing, Active Learning Workshops and Cooperative Learning Workshops. Among the participants of her English language proficiency courses were the PETRONAS Scholars, exchange students from Korean Maritime and Ocean University, exchange students from Russia, Japan and staff from the Ministry of Oil and Gas, Gabon. She has also conducted Technical Writing courses for the industries like PETRONAS, Tabung Haji and INSTEP. He has over 12 years of working experience in industry, academia, and research. Her research interests are in the areas of engineering education, communication, applied linguistics and teaching and learning methods, particularly Active Learning. She has also been awarded with research grants by the Ministry of Education as well as the industries to conduct research in these areas.
