COURSE SUMMARY
INTRODUCTION
This training session provides a comprehensive view of the project management knowledge areas reflecting on the PMBOK® Guide, an American National Standard for managing IT projects. To better equip the participants for this environment, the training session will include a case study team project, in which participants will learn how to successfully plan, manage and deliver projects. Participants will also learn how to implement project management processes, develop leadership skills and respond to real-world scenarios on Microsoft Platform. All activities in this training session are targeted towards exploring a variety of problems and issues in managing projects, addressing both the technical and social or human sides of the field embracing the Digital Project Management.
OBJECTIVES
Upon completion of this course, participants will be able to:
Implement project management processes.
Develop leadership skills and respond to real-world scenarios on Microsoft Platform.

1. Associate Professor Ts Dr Ahmad Kamil Bin Mahmood
AP Ts Dr Dayang Rohaya Awang Rambli is an Associate Professor in the Department of Computer and Information Sciences, Universiti Teknologi PETRONAS (UTP), Malaysia. She received her PhD degree (Computer Science) from Loughborough University in 2005. Her MSc degree (Computer Science) and BSc (Computer Science) were obtained from Western Michigan University in 1987 and University of Nebraska, Omaha, USA in 1985 respectively. Currently, she is a researcher at the Institute of Health Analytics (UTP), leading the Visualization & Interaction Research group. Her research interest lies in the area of virtual reality, augmented reality and human computer interaction focusing on visualization and human factors issues in the field of healthcare, education & training. She has more than 20 years of teaching experience in courses such as programming, virtual reality, technopreneurship team project and IT project management.
3. Dr Wesam Alaloul
Dr Wesam Alaloul is a lecturer at Universiti Teknologi Petronas and was a certified project manager in Palestine-Gaza. he has conducted several trainings related to project management and construction. His research interests in construction management, construction materials, offshore structures decommissioning, and lifecycle cost assessment. He is a certified trainer for Construction costing and sustainability issues. He has published more than 45 papers in construction management, BIM, and materials in several ISI/Scopes journals and international conferences. He was a member of the evaluation committee for development and relief projects proposals. He participated as a member of the steering committee in the sustainable urban planning of new cities in Palestine.
