INTRODUCTION
In this course we explore the Internet of Things (IoT) in relation to the other disruptive technologies like Big Data, Cloud Computing, Machine Learning and Edge Computing with different case studies from the 4IR industry world.
Standards and Frameworks of IoT are studied from the Monitoring, Sensing and Collecting of Data via Sensors and Microcontrollers like Arduino and Raspberry Pi, Communications Protocols and Standards, Connectivity Blocks, IoT Device Architecture, Security, Analyze in conjunction with Big Data Analytics and Machine Learning.
Case studies will be discussed i.e. data processing, real time communications medium and data analytics with SQL and analyzed with different applications from the industry world.
