CONTENT SUMMARY

INTRODUCTION

Hydrogen is light, storable and energy-dense in which it produces energy and water with no direct greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions when it is burnt. Hence; it has become a popular potential alternative fuel to power electricity and vehicles. Malaysia has begun exploring hydrogen as a clean energy since 1990s. Hydrogen becomes more significant as it is being considered globally as a potential fuel of the future to decarbonize the energy sector. Therefore, it is crucial to explore hydrogen as a potential renewable fuel in future. Apart from hydrogen safety and policy, this course will provide fundamental knowledge of hydrogen production from various sources and hydrogen storage as well as transport techniques. For hydrogen business case study, this course will focus on data trending and visualization of data analytics in hydrogen applications.
