INTRODUCTION
This course will expose the participants to the understanding and interpretations of the financial statements. Participants will be trained to use the right tools to perform ratio analysis and financial forecasting. Methods and techniques will be introduced to participants in understanding the financial performance of a company. This course covers fundamentals of finance that include financial statements & analysis, time value of money, valuation process, business analysis, costs & Costing, management of working capital, operating cycles, financial planning and investment appraising tools. This course will not only to increase participants’ understanding of financial decisions but also to get answers to practical problems that can be related to their day-to-day operations.

Co-authored books on Financial Management, International Finance and contributed articles for both local and international magazines. Served as a Trainer / Consultant in O&G industry including PETRONAS especially on socio-economic and cost analysis. Visited Norway, India, Turkmenistan, Turkey and Indonesia as Vising Scholar for academic and research collaboration. Currently holding internal and external research grants as Leader and Principal Researcher and offering short courses for industry and PG Scholars.
