OUR TRAINERS




1. Dr. Khalidah Khalid Ali

Dr. Khalidah is a retired a senior lecturer at Department of Management and Humanities, Universiti Teknologi PETRONAS (UTP), Seri Iskandar, Perak D.R., Malaysia and currently a freelance consultant, trainer and writer. She holds a bachelor degree in Analytical Economics with honours from University of Malaya (1979), Master of Science in Industrial Relations and Personnel Management from University of London (London School of Economics and Political Science, 1983) and PhD. in Social Science and Humanities from Universiti Teknologi PETRONAS (2019). Khalidah has taught Malaysian Studies, Principles of Economics, The Malaysian Economy, Business Management, Introduction to Management, Human Resource Management, Entrepreneurship and Ethics and Social Responsibility at UTP and the Open University Malaysia.

Her research interests include interdisciplinary social science and cultural studies and value-based studies related to ethics in a diverse and competitive global environment. Khalidah has provided research and consultancy services in business organization, marketing and ethics and been a trainer in the related areas. She has also been a journal paper reviewer in management, economics and ethics disciplines. Khalidah is the main author of text books, “Business Management - A Malaysian Perspective” 1e to 4e (2019) and Business Ethics 1e (2014) and 2e (2018) published by Oxford Fajar Publishing for Malaysian and ASEAN higher learning institutions. She is a member of the Malaysian Institute of Management (MIM), PETRONAS Alumni, UTP Alumni and ResearchGate. 


2. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Satirenjit Kaur Johl  (UTP)

She has been in the academic, research & consultancy field since 1992. She is currently with Universiti Teknologi PETRONAS. Prior to that she was with Universiti Utara Malaysia. Dr. Satirenjit has also served the corporate sector, namely IBM, Boustead Holdings and Malaysian Professional Centre. She obtained her Doctorate in Philosophy (Business) from University of Nottingham, U.K and Master’s in Human Resource Management from Universiti Utara Malaysia

She is also a certified trainer from the Institute of Personnel and Development, U.K. She has conducted several training programs for multinational companies i.e. IBM, Boustead Holdings and Universiti Teknologi PETRONAS in the areas of Quality, Entrepreneurship and Human Resource. She also supervises PhD and Masters students in the areas of Entrepreneurship, Corporate Governance and Strategic Management.

She has vastly travelled the globe as a speaker to present papers in International Conferences namely Hawaii, U.S, England, Hong Kong, Thailand, Indonesia, India, Dubai, Australia, Singapore, Japan. This kind of vast exposure has equipped her with the expertise of understanding different cultures and business climate.






3. Datuk (Dr). Hafsah Hashim

She was the Chief Executive Officer of the SME Corporation Malaysia (SME Corp. Malaysia) for 13 years 11 months. She holds a Bachelor in Applied Science from the Science University of  Malaysia  and  Masters  in Business Administration from Aston University, United Kingdom. Recognizing her expertise in SME development and entrepreneurship, she was awarded with Honorary Doctorate of Entrepreneurship by Universiti Tenaga Nasional in 2015. She was also appointed as the ‘Professor of Practice’ of the Putra Business School, and Adjunct Professor for College of Business Management & Accounting, Universiti Tenaga Nasional (UNITEN) as well as Panel Adjunct Professor for Academic and  International  of Universiti Teknologi Malaysia and Putra Business School, Universiti Putra Malaysia. During her tenure serving the Government of Malaysia for 36 years and 2 months, Datuk (Dr) Hafsah accumulated a wealth of experience in public sector administration and policy development.

She served in several Ministries including Ministry of International Trade and Industry (MITI), Ministry of Agriculture, and Ministry of Primary Industries.
