CONTENT SUMMARY
INTRODUCTION
Business English for Technical employees is a language skill programme customized for MISC technical employees. The training program module will cater to MISC employees from the technical/engineering background with a focus on writing, communicating and presenting technical information and data in way that is easier for any type of audience to understand. The programme aimed to develop the targeted communication skills by developing their vocabulary and writing skills and their understanding of tone, style and knowledge of communication methods in business setting. The programme will also cover how these language skills can enhance audience analysis, business case analysis and basic business communication strategies.

1. Dr. Muhammad Ridhuan Tony Lim Abdullah (UTP)
Dr. Muhammad Ridhuan Tony Lim Abdullah current position as Head, Governance & Public Policy Research Group, Institute of Self-Sustainable Building, at Universiti Teknologi Petronas.
For academic qualification Dr. Muhammad Ridhuan Tony Lim Abdullah had Degree in Education, Master in Education (TESL) and PhD in Curriculum & Instruction by University of Malaya. Expertise in Teaching English as a Second Language, Language and Communication, Curriculum and Instructional Technology, Technology-Blended Learning, Multi-Criteria Decision Making and Governance and Public Policy He also one of HRDF certified trainer, consultant for future teacher education policy model by Malaysia Teacher Education Institute (Institute Pendidikan Guru Malaysia) and one of expert panel moderator for various workshop for University of Malaya. Award that have been rewarded is silver medalist in International Innovative Practices in Higher Education Expo 2017(IPHEX), 5th Teaching and Learning Innovation Festival – Silver medallist, Excellent Academic Award awarded by University of Malaya and Excellent Service Award by Malaysia Ministry of Education
2. Dr Hairuzila Idrus (UTP)
Dr Hairuzila Idrus current position as Head of Centre for Social Transformation for Sustainable Lifestyles, UTP. She had academic qualifications in Bachelor of Arts in Linguistics by University of Iowa, Iowa, Master of Science in TESOL by Central Connecticut State University, Connecticut, USA and PhD in Education by Universiti Teknologi MARA, Malaysia. Professional Affiliations Currently Held by Dr Hairuzila in Working Committee Member, Society of Engineering Education, Malaysia, Member, Malaysian Association of Applied Linguistics and Member, Asia TEFL. Area of expertise for Dr Hairuzila in Education, Engineering Education, Applied Linguistics, Teaching of English as a Second and Other Language (TESOL) and Student Centered Learning.
