CONTENT SUMMARY
INTRODUCTION
Energy management and audit training programs are designed for Energy Managers, Maintenance Staff, SME Owners, energy management teams, technical and non-technical executives. This training is equipped with theoretical and practical strategies to save energy costs through Energy Management System & Energy Efficiency Solutions. Participants will also be given exposure and guidance in shared awareness of the energy management system, e.g. ISO 50001: 2018, legal requirements related to energy and methodology of implementation of energy audit. Several relevant case studies will be used in this course as a basis for participants to develop their level of awareness and confidence in this field.

1. Assoc. Prof. Ir. Dr. Hamdan Haji Ya (UTP)
Hamdan Haji Ya (HHYa) is currently an Associate Professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering, Universiti Teknologi PETRONAS, since December 2013. Prior to that, he had more than twenty years of experience working in the industrial sector where his last position was as general manager at SIRIM Berhad, Malaysia. He earned a PhD in Impact Engineering / Applied Mechanics, Mechanical Engineering at The University of Manchester in 2006. He has written more than fifty technical paper publications. Ir. Dr. Hamdan is a professional engineer and a corporate member of the Institute of Engineers Malaysia. His research interests are in the field of impact engineering on composite materials, pressure vessel design, erosion mitigation in pipeline and energy management.
2. Assoc. Prof. Ir. Dr. Mohd Amin Abd Majid (UTP)
Mohd Amin Abdul Majid is currently Associate Professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering, Universiti Teknologi PETRONAS, since 2000.. He earned his PhD in Mechanical Engineering from Universiti Malaya. His research interest include Manufacturing, District Cooling, Asset Life Study and Plant Maintenance. He has completed several research projects funded by various agencies and holds many publications in the form of peer-reviewed journals and conference papers.
