COURSE SUMMARY

INTRODUCTION

Energy is one of the most imperative aspects of any country technological progress.  Efficient use of energy and its saving is essential for sustainable development. The process of energy saving is known as energy management. Thus, the process of energy planning, saving measures, monitoring utilization, controlling and conserving for a building is termed as energy management. The steps involve measuring energy consumption, formulating strategies and means to save energy, finding opportunities to save and analyzing the amount of energy that can be save, taking action to save energy and gauging the effectiveness.

The course covers 3 days covering the scope on energy systems, energy management, ISO50001 and Energy audits. The course is designed to address HRDF - SME DEVELOPMENT (Embracing Change. Sustaining Growth). This is functional and operational training to support SME owners and employees to alleviate productivity to national and international standards.
