INTRODUCTION
This course introduces the participants to the basic concept of sustainability and the UN Sustainable Development Goal with focuses on energy transitions and energy efficiency towards low carbon society. The content provides participants with the knowledge on energy consumption, energy efficiency, global and local energy scenarios and energy policies. The course also includes the discussions of the role of current and future technologies for sustainability. The course continues with deliberation on change behavior towards energy management and empowering oil and gas industry with sustainability policy.

1. Associate Professor Dr. Ahmad Shahrul Nizam Bin Isha (UTP)
Associate Professor Dr. Ahmad Shahrul Nizam Bin Isha, obtained his Doctoral Degree from Institute of Work Health and Organisation, University of Nottingham, United Kingdom. Upon completion of his Doctorate, he received the Australian Endeavor Award in 2011 and continue his post-Doctoral work at the University of Queensland Australia. Dr. Nizam currently is the Head of the Centre of Social Innovation (CoSI), Institute of Self Sustainable Building, Universiti Teknologi PETRONAS. His area of expertise is in Occupational Health Psychology focuses on safety culture, behavioural based safety, human fatigue, stress management, low carbon economy and sustainability. He is a member of European Academy of Occupational Health Psychology. Apart from his academic and research work, Dr. Nizam is also being a consultants and HRDF certified trainer, he is also actively engaged in team dynamic facilitation and conducting training and short courses in his area of expertise.

Dr. Hazlina Husin (UTP)
Hazlina is a Fellow of the Energy Institute, UK, Chartered Energy and Petroleum Engineer and a Professional Engineer of the Board of Engineers Malaysia. She received her PhD degree from The University of Western Australia (UWA). Currently, she holds a position as Programme Leader for Petroleum Engineering Department, Head of Production Technologist Cluster and Head of Flow Assurance Centre, at Universiti Teknologi PETRONAS. She is recognised academically for her continuous contributions when she was appointed as Guest Editor for Journal of Processes, Switzerland, Section Editor for UTP journal and Technical Reviewer for many local and international journals. Her expertise in energy is well-known locally and internationally as she conducted various energy-related consultancy projects for more than 20 years and is now preparing IEM Position Paper for Hydrogen as a New Energy Source. She plays an active role in several Think-Tank roundtables such as Frequent Water Disruptions Faced by Government, Disaster Risk Reduction Advisory Board, Green/Alternative Energy Technologies Task Force, PETRONAS SKG10 skill group and National OGSE Industry Blueprint 2021-2030 (Malaysia Petroleum Resources Corporation). Her credibility makes her a certified interviewer for Engineering Council UK, a panel evaluator for Engineering Accreditation Council and an elected general member for The Institution of Engineers Malaysia (Chemical Engineering Technical Division).
