INTRODUCTION
In this course, firstly, introduction to AutoCAD environment will be covered. Drawing tools, text, and dimensioning following with creating layers and blocks, plotting and scale will be explained. Practices on 2D drawing, modification and plotting will be instructed step by step. Also, introduction to 3D drawing together with examples will be practiced.

1. Dr Ehsan Nikbakht (UTP)
Dr Ehsan Nikbakht received a Bachelor degree in Civil Engineering from Islamic Azad University of Iran (IAU), Master and PhD of Engineering in Structural Engineering from Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia. his PhD thesis was entitled with numerical and experimental investigation of post-tensioned precast segmental columns with self-centring system for bridges in seismic regions. He joined Universiti Teknologi PETRONAS in 2015. His teaching and research involvements are in the areas of Structural Engineering. He has authored several technical papers in the areas of reinforced concrete and earthquake engineering. He is a member of several national and international professional organizations and he served as a reviewer for a number of International journals in Structural and Earthquake Engineering discipline such as Journal of Structural Engineering, ASCE; Bulletin of Earthquake Engineering; and Structure and Infrastructure Engineering.
