CONTENT SUMMARY
INTRODUCTION
The main aim of this training is to enhance participants’ fundamental and advance knowledge about e-commerce and entrepreneurship in the current era. Also, soft skills like communication (physical and cyber), people management and stakeholder relationship management will be introduced and enhanced. The business management aspects will include business development strategy, planning and branding, business marketing, computing for bookkeeping and accounts, money management and logistics management. In a nutshell, the course will equip the participants with the required knowledge and skills to scale-up for a career in e-commerce, to be able to face current challenges and thrive to sustain and contribute to the country.

1. Ir Dr M Mubarak B. A Wahab (UTP)
Dr. Mubarak Wahab, P.E, PhD, is a multifaceted, self-driven and highly motivated engineer with over 20 years of experience, a master’s degree in Structural Engineering from University of Melbourne, Australia and a PhD degree from Universiti Teknologi PETRONAS, Malaysia. In the 20 years of experience, 6 solid years of progressively responsible supervisory, managerial and business development on construction and design projects. Academic since 2007, with research interest into structures and materials; onshore and offshore structure steel: integrity and reliability domain. To date has completed and currently managing numerous research projects (valued at RM1 Million) and industry projects (Valued at RM 80 Million) and published more than 40 research papers
2. Dr Noohul Basheer Zain Ali (Waham Technology Sdn Bhd)
Dr Noohul Bahseer is the Director for Waham Technology Sdn Bhd, Subang Jaya, Malaysia and Founder of Asmimi Limited, Southampton, United Kingdom. Asmimi Ltd was established in 2012 as a company and operating as a wholesaler and retailer for brand such as Mamakiddies, Skiidiii and Mollycoddle in UK. Also, a co-Founder of Ice Cream Village (ICV), Wangsamaju, Kuala Lumpur, established in 2015. ICV is a new start-up for Italian Gelato. It’s a new brand; established with the aim to bring authentic Italian Gelato to Malaysia. Dr Noohul also has assisted a number of small companies to turnaround their low turnover, from traditional operations to state-of-the-art marketing strategy using efficient social media. This resulted in 2-to-3-fold increase in overall turnover. Dr Noohul has worked with Consulting Flexilicate, a multi-million-ringgit University Malaya start-up company on having sustainable business model. Also, he has worked with Consulting Eartheque, a Chennai, India based company on expanding their business beyond India. Dr Noohul has played a major role in consulting for product commercialization including feasibility and market study, design and verification for pre-commercialization and scale-up of: Design Validation, Transfer to Pilot Production and Process Validation.
3. Ts Dr Ng Cheng Yee (UTP)
Dr Ng Cheng Yee received her PhD in Civil Engineering (Offshore structures) from Universiti Teknologi PETRONAS in 2014, MSc in Civil Engineering (Offshore Structures) in 2010 and BEng in Civil Engineering in 2007 from the same university. She is a member of Institute of Civil Engineers (ICE), UK, American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME) and Board of Engineer Malaysia (BEM). She’s experts in offshore engineering, floating offshore structures, Offshore renewable energy, wave-structure interaction, wave hydrodynamics & directional waves.
