CONTENT SUMMARY
INTRODUCTION
This course will introduce the Quantitative Interpretation(QI) using seismic data for identification of hydrocarbon and reservoir properties. Participant will be provided with background theory on QI including, Amplitude seismic interpretation through DHI, AVO analysis and seismic inversion which is enhanced with the latest related technology, provided with real example from oil and gas field, and introduction of deep learning in python or MATLAB. The hands-on work on programming will be provided with the example from synthetic and real data.

Maman Hermana obtained a B.Sc in Geophysics from University of Indonesia, an M.Sc in Applied Geophysics from Instiute technology of Bandung, Indonesia and a PhD in Geosciences from Univerisiti Technologi PETRONAS, Malaysia. He has more than 15 years of experience in research and as well as in Academic. He is passionate about geophysics, developing local staff, and transfer of technology. In UTP he is responsible for competency development of younger researcher and staff. Dr. Maman is an active member of many international professional organizations such as SPE, EAGE, SEG. currently, Dr. Maman is a Senior Lecturer and the Deputy Head of the Centre for Seismic Imaging (CSI), one of the best research center not only in S.E Asia but also in the world
