INTRODUCTION
Today's market is highly competitive where customers expectations are very different from the past. Customers want more than a product (goods or services). Therefore, companies need advanced marketing strategies aligned with today's customers' expectations to create value for the customers and gain value in return.
Companies need to use different and potentially successful ways to approach the customers. The companies need to understand customers' expectations (more than just a need) and develop advanced effective market strategies aligned with their expectations.
The notion of advancing and excelling in the market is goal of almost every business. To skill and approach to create unique competence lies beyond selling the products but a deep understanding of customers expectations and application of advanced concepts that can create value.
This 2-days course is designed to bring the latest best practices for the participants on how to create value using the latest marketing strategies and develop enriched experiences for the customers and other stakeholders involved in the eco-system. Dr. Amjad Shamim (UTP)
Dr. Amjad Shamim is currently Program Manager for MBA in Energy Management and Senior Lecturer in Marketing at Universiti Teknologi PETRONAS, Malaysia. He is also Core Researcher at Center of Social Innovation, Institute of Self-Sustainable Building. He holds PhD, MS and MBA in Marketing.
He has over 12 years of working experience in industry, academia, and research. He has conducted several trainings both nationally and internationally in the areas of value co-creation, service thinking approach for delivery value, delivering service excellence, and structural equation modeling among others.
He is the recipient of Liam Glynn Research Scholarship Award by Service Special Interest Group (AMA-SERVSIG) sponsored by Arizona State University Center for Services Leadership USA (2019), and UTP Brand Advocate Award (2020).
Dr. Amjad has published over 30 articles in reputed international journals. In addition, he has received Seven research grants amounting to USD 84,000 from national and international funding bodies.
