COURSE SUMMARY

INTRODUCTION

This online short course is intended to highlight the advances in bituminous pavement materials characterisation, durability of the materials in terms of aging and moisture susceptibility, and sustainable solutions with regards to pavement materials. The course is well-balanced between emerging methods and field practice.

1. Dr Muslich Hartadi Sutanto

Dr Muslich Hartadi Sutanto, IPM is a Senior Lecturer at Civil and Environmental Engineering Department and Coordinator of Sustainable Highway and Infrastructure Nexus (SHiNe) within the Institute of Self-Sustainable Building, Universiti Teknologi PETRONAS. He holds a PhD from The University of Nottingham UK and Senior Professional Engineer qualification by The Institution of Engineers Indonesia. He is a former advisor for the Institute of Road Engineering, Indonesian Ministry of Public Works, and board of expert in R&D Agency, Indonesian Ministry of Transport.
