OUR TRAINER

1. Professor Dr. Tarek Ahmed 

Prof Dr. Tarek Ahmed is a former Professor and Chairman of the Petroleum Engineering Department at Montana Tech of the University of Montana. During his tenure at Montana Tech, Dr. Ahmed has taught numerous undergraduate and graduate courses in all aspects of reservoir engineering. After his retirement from Montana Tech in 2002, Prof Tarek was awarded the Rank of “Professor Emeritus” of Petroleum Engineering.  Prof Tarek has authored or co-authored numerous technical publications and several reservoir engineering textbooks. Several of Prof Tarek’s textbooks have been translated into various languages including Russian, Farsi, and Chinese.  Prof Tarek is actively involved with SPE and has served as a representative of the society as a Petroleum Engineering Program Evaluator for several ABET program accreditation visits.Currently; Dr. Ahmed is providing in-house courses and consulting serves for several companies, including Saudi-Aramco, BG,  Petro-Vietnam, PDO of Oman, MEDCO, VICO, YPF and others.
